Wonderful Experience! "It was a very pleasant stay. From the airport pickup until the airport drop off, excellent service was provided by the whole staff. The manageress was simply amazing, booking, planning via email was done and she was very professional & efficient. The rooms were lovely with a beautiful view from the 5th floor. Spacious rooms and clean, everything was meticulous. They serve an awesome breakfast that can be compared to any 3 or 4-star hotels in the world. Our overall experience was way above our expectations. Hoping to visit the hotel next year for a longer period."

Lovely comfortable room in a hotel staffed largely by friendly enthusiastic young people "I spent five nights at this hotel in early July. My room was very large, extremely comfortable, with excellent shower room. Everything, including WiFi, worked well. This hotel is very Burmese (restaurant menu, including at breakfast time; furnishing style; the majority of other guests) which for me was a plus (I'm English). The staff were so friendly, helpful and capable: they really made me feel welcome. I may well return to Taunggyi since I have friends there; and would willingly stay in this hotel again. Thanks for a great stay!"

New and nice hotel in the centre! "The hotel was recently opened and the rooms are nice. Internet is fine. Certainly the best hotel in town. There is a cash machine just outside. Staff is helpful and kind. Breakfast is basic but nice. I recommend it."

Clean and comfortable with helpful staff "Cheerful staff arranged reasonably priced transportation to Inle and boat travel for our excursion there, as well as taxi service to the Kakku pagodas. Staff members were also always present outside the hotel to help with arrivals and departures. Our room was clean, fresh, and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. We traveled as siblings (age 50+) and noted many families with kids. The hotel is on the main road so is convenient if not silent. We recommend the UCT highly."

Excellent view of balloon festival "Clean rooms and very helpful staff. Family room very big. Upper floors (odd numbers) have good view of the fireworks during festival period. I would of given it a 5 if the breakfast was better than average."

တစ်ခါမှတော့လာမတည်းဖူးဘူး။အခုပထမဦးဆုံးလာတည်းတာပါ။ထင်မှတ်မထားရလောက်အောင်ဟိုတယ်ကပေးတဲ့ ဝန်ဆောင်မှုအရမ်းကောင်းလွန်းတယ်။ဝန်ထမ်းတွေကလည်းဧည့်သည်တွေကို ဖော်ဖော်ရွေရွေဆက်ဆံကြတယ်။အိပ်ခန်းလည်းကျယ်ရေချိုးခန်းလည်းတော်တော်ကျယ်တယ်။မနက်စောစောစာ BF လည်းအရမ်းစားကောင်းတယ်။သန့်ရှင်းတယ်။သပ်ရပ်တယ်။ ပေးလိုက်ရတဲ့ငွေနဲ့ပြန်ရလိုက်တဲ့ဝန်ဆောင်မှုက အချိုးကျတယ်။တောင်ကြီးရောက်ရင်လာရောက်တည်းခိုသင့်တဲ့နေရာတစ်ခုပါ။

UCT Taunggyi Hotel is a superior class hotel. Located near downtown and have 5th floor. Fair price and suitable service.

Gutes Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt Das Hotel war super geeignet um das Festival in der Stadt zu besuchen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Preise im Restaurant angemessen und die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse toll. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, allerdings wird das Hotel momentan noch umgebaut

Excellent value for the money. Great place, staff and breakfast in particular. Could not leave laptop charged because removing the key card from the receptacle turns the electrical outlets off.

The rooms were lovely with a beautiful view from the 5th floor also the beds were so comfy. Bed linen, towels were soft and clean. Spacious rooms and the sowers were very clean too, everything was meticulous. They serve an awesome breakfast that can be compared to any 3 or 4-star hotels. Our overall experience was way above our expectations. Hoping to visit the hotel next year for a longer period. The reception/front desk staff is super friendly. The restaurant staff is amazing. Food is wonderful and very reasonable prices, did not expect so large portions- great value. The driver/shuttle service was punctual and he was a safe driver. Taunggyi is quickly filling up with new hotels. In May 2015 there were just a few old ones around, but 3 years later the place is offering much more. The UCT is a new hotel right across the small park in the center of town. Clean large rooms and facilities. Full breakfast for all tastes. I only stayed one night, but certainly worthwhile if you're there for work (as I did). Rooms at the front (road-side) are a bit noisy in the morning as traffic starts early.

Very helpful staff, they arranged a taxi to find a relative that had moved and arranged to have my motorcycle washed.
